A Design Studio Collaborating with the Coffee Industry: From Small Coffee Farm Wastewater Treatment to Innovative Generative Design Espresso Machines.

Recently, we are working on the Project Lombriz Nadando: An affordable and straightforward coffee wastewater filtration system based on vermifiltration, which utilises earthworms in an aerobic treatment process. Specifically designed for small coffee farms, it effectively minimises the environmental impact.

We’ve officially changed our name from Lombriz Nadando to BioBrew.

Why? We wanted a name that’s easier to say, easier to remember, and clearer for everyone. BioBrew better reflects what we’re about: using nature and science to turn coffee waste into something good for the environment—essentially following a philosophy similar to coffee brewing itself.
